EPC regulations are tightening and energy bills are not going down. Whether you need to bring a property up to standard or you want to make it more attractive to tenants, we can help you work out the most cost-effective way to get there.

Get your properties up to standard.

The minimum EPC requirements for rental properties are getting stricter. If your properties are sitting at an E or below, you need a plan to bring them up. The question is what combination of measures gets you there without spending more than you need to.

That is where we come in. We survey the property, look at what it currently has, and recommend the measures that will shift the EPC rating the most for the least outlay. Sometimes it is insulation. Sometimes it is a heating upgrade. Often it is a combination of both plus some electrical work.

We carry out the installation ourselves and handle all the paperwork. Updated EPC, installation certificates, compliance documentation — everything you need is handed over on completion. One company, one visit, one point of contact.

If you have a portfolio rather than a single property, we can look at the whole stock and plan a phased programme. The properties with the worst ratings get done first, and we work through the rest in an order that makes financial sense.

EPC survey and recommendations

We survey the property and tell you exactly what measures will shift the rating. No guesswork, no upselling measures you do not need. Just a clear recommendation based on what the property actually requires.

Insulation and fabric upgrades

Loft insulation, cavity wall, internal wall — whatever the property needs to reduce heat loss and improve the rating. Often the most cost-effective first step for older rental stock.

Heating and Solar PV

Storage heater replacements, heat pump installations, and Solar PV where it makes sense. MCS certified, so the installations qualify for the Smart Export Guarantee and add genuine value to the property.

Electrical upgrades

Consumer unit replacements, rewires, EICRs — the electrical work that often needs doing alongside an energy upgrade. We are NICEIC approved, so it is all handled under one roof with proper certification.

If you have a portfolio of rental properties, it makes sense to look at them as a programme rather than one at a time. We can survey the lot, identify which ones need the most attention, and put together a phased plan that spreads the cost and gets the worst performers dealt with first.

We coordinate access with your tenants directly, keep disruption to a minimum, and hand over all the documentation on completion. One invoice per property, one point of contact throughout, and every property left with an updated EPC and proper certificates.
